A Chinese technical company specializing in innovative materials and products in the electronics sector approached us. The goal was to fill two positions: a Procurement Manager and an HR Manager, both requiring relocation to Wuxi. Key requirements: at least 5 years of experience in the field, proficiency in Chinese (HSK5 or higher), perfect Russian, and alignment with the company's core values.
Task
Challenges
The equipment production was highly innovative, making the industry fundamentally new for potential candidates. The difficulty was twofold: we needed an HR specialist capable of building internal processes in a unique technical niche, and a Procurement Manager with knowledge of specific components and equipment. The pool of candidates with the required language skills and technical expertise was extremely narrow.
Solution
We conducted an in-depth analysis of the industry to identify donor companies with similar profiles. The search was carried out through both standard databases and professional communities in China, focusing on bilingual specialists. Special attention was paid to verifying language competencies and motivation to relocate. Each finalist underwent a series of interviews to assess their fit with the company's values.
Result
Both vacancies were filled within one month, including the processing of work visas. The specialists successfully passed their probationary periods and went on to participate in the company's further development and expansion.
